The January transfer window is off to a fast start as Arsenal , Chelsea , Tottenham, Manchester United and Liverpool seek to bolster their squads for the second half of the season. Mikel Arteta has already confirmed Arsenal are “actively looking” at potential signings, and are being linked with moves for Arda Guler, Robinio Vaz, Breno Bidon, Kenan Yildiz, Davide Bartesaghi and Rodrigo Mendoza.
Chelsea's pressing concern is the appointment of a new head coach after parting ways with Enzo Maresca on New Year’s Day, Liam Rosenior the front-runner to replace him. Liverpool are said to have agreed a deal to sign Ifeanyi Ndukwe as they continue to monitor Club Brugge defender Joel Ordonez, while Man Utd are exploring a deal to sign Brighton midfielder Carlos Baleba.
