Rory McIlroy Masters 2027 odds after securing back-to-back Green Jackets at Augusta

Rory McIlroy joins an elite list of back-to-back champions at the Masters after his superb -12 performance saw him pick up his second Green Jacket at Augusta National. The Northern Irish golfer put on an incredible display yet again at Augusta as he consistently finished top every day at the legendary course.

He now joins an elite list of golfers to have won back-to-back Green Jackets alongside Tiger Woods (2002), Nick Faldo (1990) and Jack Nicklaus (1966) and now some are tipping him to become the first golfer ever to win three consecutive Green Jackets at Augusta National. The feat has never been achieved but after besting his score from last year, it seems Rory is in the best form of his career and if he can maintain that going into next year's Masters then we could well witness history.

It will be a tall order and the bookies seem to back someone else as the favourite in Scottie Scheffler at 9/2 with Sky Bet despite only managing to finish T7 with China's Li Haotong on -7. The American, two-time winner went into the last two Masters as the bookies favourite as well with McIlroy behind him just at 11/2.

A Scheffler win would mean better form having post only one sub-70 score in the opening three rounds but matched McIlroy's best round this year with 65 before another impressive 68 caused for McIlroy to seek a bogey to avoid a play-off scenario.

Other notable suitors for the Green Jacket include 2023 champion Jon Rahm at 12/1 after finishing +1 while Bryson DeChambeau, who failed to make the cut for the third time in five years, is priced at 16/1 to get his first jacket.
