Mohamed Salah may have played his last game for Liverpool after he was forced off with a hamstring injury in the win over Crystal Palace .
Liverpool gave their hopes of qualifying for next season’s Champions League a huge boost with a 3-1 win over the Eagles with Alexander Isak , Andy Robertson and Florian Wirtz on target at Anfield.
But the afternoon was marred somewhat with Salah suffering what appeared to be a hamstring injury just before the hour mark.
Salah will leave the Reds at the end of the season, closing the curtains on an extraordinary nine-year career on Merseyside.
But the injury suffered against Palace could bring a premature end to his season – starting with the trip to Manchester United next weekend where Salah has been so lethal over the years.
While Liverpool are still waiting to learn the extent of the issue, Arne Slot admitted the sight of Salah being unable to continue has him fearing the worst.
