Liverpool eye move for France forward despite Tottenham struggles

Liverpool are interested in signing France international Randal Kolo Muani .

The 27-year-old is currently on loan at Tottenham Hotspur , where he has shown flashes of quality but has largely struggled.

Kolo Muani has made just two goal contributions in 25 Premier League appearances.

He has fared better in the Champions League though, scoring four times in nine games.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport , Liverpool have identified the Frenchman as a potential replacement for Mohamed Salah.

Salah has already announced he will leave the club at the end of the campaign.

The Reds face strong competition from Juventus, who reportedly have made contact with the player’s agent.

Kolo Muani spent the 2024-25 season on loan at Juventus, bagging 10 goals in 22 appearances.

The Old Lady tried to re-sign him in the winter transfer window , but Spurs refused to cut short his loan spell.

Kolo Muani mainly operates as a striker, but can also play on the wings.

He is highly rated for his exceptional pace, intelligent movement and finishing ability.

But given his struggles in the Premier League, Liverpool will likely be wary of pursuing a move for the forward.

The Merseyside titans also have Yan Diomande on their shortlist.

Diomande has emerged as one of the Europe’s finest wingers. He has netted 12 goals and recorded nine assists in 29 Bundesliga appearances this season.
