Liam Rosenior has provided an injury update ahead of Chelsea's clash against Arsenal . The Blues will lock horns with Mikel Arteta's side in the first leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.
Malo Gusto, Reece James and Cole Palmer were not part of the travelling squad when the Blues beat Charlton Athletic at The Valley on Saturday evening. After the game, Rosenior confirmed the trio picked up slight knocks during the defeat to Fulham a few days prior.
Speaking to reporters at Cobham on Monday afternoon, the Chelsea boss claimed that the trio will undergo a late fitness test . Rosenior also pointed out that Moises Caicedo will miss the game due to suspension.
The 24-year-old midfielder was shown his second yellow card of the campaign during the Blues' win over Cardiff City in the quarter-final. Rosenior said: "Moi is suspended.
"We've had no injury problems coming out of Charlton. I will make a decision on Cole, Malo and Reece tomorrow or on the morning of Wednesday."
On whether the game will be the biggest of his career, Rosenior said: "I think people will look at it that way. People will look at it that way. I don't see it that way.

"I think every session that I take, every meeting that I take, every game that we play is the most important thing. I live in the now. It is the most important game because it's the next one. I mean that.
"If you start to prioritise games or think something's more important than the other, then you're not focused. I don't care if it's a pre-season game. I'm doing it at my maximum. I expect that from whichever group I work with.
"So, for me, that keeps me calm because I'm happy with the process in which we work as a staff and which the players are taking on. I'm not making it any bigger than the fact it's the next game and we have to win. That's the way I see it."

Chelsea and Arsenal have already locked horns this season. Back in November, Enzo Maresca salvaged a point for the Blues in feisty clash at Stamford Bridge.
"Fundamentally, there are tactical things in the game, but what I loved from that game was the intensity of the group," said Rosenior. "I'm confident in the group. They have shown they are really hungry and believe in ourselves."
On facing the Gunners, the Chelsea boss said: "We've been working tactically on Arsenal since I came into the club. We know how important the game is. I was very happy with the attitude against Charlton, in terms of our energy, intensity and winning duels."
Rosenior also showered praise on Arteta for his work at the Emirates Stadium. The 41-year-old said: "Everyone starts somewhere. Mikel is someone who has done an incredible job and he has had time to build the way he wants his team to look.

"He has done a very, very good job there. I'm really looking forward to the game. Everyone has a different background, everyone has a different way of getting somewhere. It's a difficult industry to be in."
On Arteta's seven-year reign, Rosenior added: "I'd love to be here for six years and longer. But I'm aware for that to happen, I need to win. Every club has a different project.
"The idea in any project is trying to win. I have ideas on what I want the team to look like in one, two, three years, but I have enough tools to win now."
