Chelsea are willing to sell youngster Tyrique George just months after a £22m move to Fulham fell through. The 19-year-old was close to a move to Craven Cottage late in the summer transfer window, only for the deal to collapse at the 11th hour.
Enzo Maresca has since been replaced by Liam Rosenior as manager, with the new man in charge open to holding conversations with players who had been demeed surplus to requirements.
But despite the change in the dugout, it appears that Chelsea remain open to letting the youngster leave this month. According to the Evening Standard , George is among a host of players that the Blues would let depart in the January transfer window , with chances thought to be at a premium.
It is suggested that Chelsea are open to both a permanent or loan exit, with clubs in England and abroad among his suitors. A temporary exit would only be considered should the terms be attractive to Chelsea.
George has made 37 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions for the Blues since breaking through from their academy, scoring six goals. But he has not featured in a matchday squad since a 2-1 defeat to Sunderland in October.
The England youth international remains under contract at Stamford Bridge until 2027, albeit Chelsea have the option of a further campaign. George might not be the only player set to leave the club this January.
Axel Disasi and Raheem Sterling are also expected to be shown the exit door, having been frozen out by former boss Enzo Maresca. Liam Rosenior has since confirmed that he will hold discussions between the pair.
He said: "I will have conversations with them. We're in January, as you know. Raheem's had an outstanding career. I've got huge respect for him. Axel is someone I've really, really liked as a player for a long time.
"Honestly, I have to have a conversation with them. I have to have a conversation with the club. I'm being genuinely honest. I literally have got to work through a list of priorities. I will do in the next few days."

Regarding incoming transfers, Rosenior is not expecting too many decisions to be made imminently. He added: "I also think sometimes the answers lie within the building and not outside. So I'll make a decision on that with the guys. Probably later in the week when I've seen everyone."
Chelsea are back in action this week as they take on Arsenal in the Carabao Cup semi-final. The Blues then welcome Brentford to Stamford Bridge on Saturday for Rosenior’s first Premier League game in charge.
