Galatasaray ‘to table’ astronomical offer for Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes

Galatasaray are lining up an ambitious move for Manchester United skipper Bruno Fernandes, with an opening offer of around €30 million being prepared to test United’s resolve, Fanatik reports.

The Turkish Süper Lig champions have made the 31-year-old their marquee target for the summer as head coach Okan Buruk seeks to strengthen central midfield before domestic and European campaigns.

Fernandes had been expected to agree an extension at Old Trafford earlier this summer, but negotiations stalled after a proposal to reduce his salary based on his age bracket.

His representatives maintain his consistent output warrants at least the same terms, and the reduced offer was rejected, creating an opening Galatasaray hope to exploit.

To outbid rivals, the Istanbul club are assembling a record package, with annual pay set to exceed €20 million including performance bonuses.

With other European suitors such as Juventus pulling back from high-cost operations, Galatasaray plan direct talks with United and the player’s agency in the coming days.
