Fermin Lopez's ironic reaction to offside in Lamine Yamal's goal

Barcelona was not exactly happy with the refereeing performance of Gil Manzano and the VAR in their match against Real Sociedad . The indignation over some of the decisions in the Blaugrana dressing room was evident, as first Frenkie de Jong and later Hansi Flick told the media. They were joined by Fermin Lopez, who took to social media to leave a message about the offside called against Lamine Yamal in one of the goals disallowed against the Blaugrana at Anoeta. Fermin uploaded to his Instagram account the photo of the VAR that was seen during the broadcast of the match followed by several 'emojis' laughing. The Barcelona midfielder used humour to analyse one of the controversial actions of the match. In this image shared during the match, it is not clear that Lamine's foot is further forward than that of the Real defender.

The Barcelona player also sent a message of unity on his profile after the defeat in San Sebastian: "Proud of my team, they will not be able to beat us."
