EA FC 26 drops game-changing FPL crossover for latest Ultimate Team promo

With EA FC 26’s latest Ultimate Team promo continuing, an upcoming crossover event promises a whole new way to obtain special player items.

A first-ever collaboration between EA FC 26 and Fantasy Premier League has spawned the new Fantasy FC Live event. The new mini-event takes place during the second half of the Fantasy FC promo.

While many special cards in the game reflect real-life performances, this new event will celebrate the top scorers during one matchweek only in FPL . Fantasy football fans will be especially excited for this event, which sees EA FC team up with FPL to offer a unique twist on the tried-and-tested performance-based upgrades.

During the Fantasy Premier League Matchweek 29, 10 players will be highlighted in EA FC 26 Ultimate Team - one for each midweek fixture during the game week. The real-world Premier League fixtures begin on Tuesday, March 3 and end on Thursday, March 5.

Starting on Saturday, February 28, a new Fantasy FC Flash Rush Event will allow players to obtain up to two of these items. After earning both, the objective group will become locked.

The exact stats on these cards is yet to be confirmed, but leakers have suggested that they will begin at either 85 or 87 overall ratings. They include the likes of Liverpool’s Milos Kerkez, Manchester United’s Amad Diallo and Arsenal’s Leandro Trossard.

To gain the items, EA FC players must take part in the Rush event using a player from the corresponding card’s men’s team before March 3. For example, if you were hoping to gain Mathys Tel of Tottenham Hotspur, any Spurs player must be used - but not the club’s Women’s Super League items.

The Fantasy FC Live cards will be upgraded in line with their real-life FPL performance during matchweek 29. Depending how many points that player pics up in FPL, you could be looking at a whopping overall rating upgrade of plus five.
