Confirmed Line-Ups: Burnley vs Manchester City (Premier League)

Manchester City can go top of the Premier League with three points against Burnley at Turf Moor on Wednesday night.

The Blues have won their last four games in all competitions to lift the Carabao Cup trophy, enter the FA Cup semi-final and take a giant step towards hijacking Arsenal ‘s lead at the top of the Premier League table.

City won away at Chelsea two weeks ago to capitalise on Arsenal’s slip-up against Bournemouth to cut the gap between the two to six points ahead of their title deciding face-off at the Etihad Stadium.

Pep Guardiola ‘s men went on to defeat the north Londoners to cut their lead further to three points and put themselves in pole position to win a seventh Premier League title under the 55-year-old.

Rodri ruled out of Burnley clash as Pep Guardiola provides Ruben Dias and John Stones update

Victory over Burnley at Turf Moor on Wednesday night will take the Blues top of the table on goal difference, with Guardiola admitting that his side only need to worry about winning every game between now and the end of the season in a press conference on Tuesday.

Ruben Dias, Rodri and Josko Gvardiol are unavailable for Manchester City against the Clarets. Dias remains sidelined with a hamstring injury the Portugal international sustained before the Carabao Cup final in March.

Rodri went off with a groin injury in the final minutes of City’s 2-1 win over Arsenal last week and Guardiola remains unsure of when the 29-year-old will be back in action.

Gvardiol is progressing his recovery from a tibial fracture to his right leg the Croatian suffered against Chelsea in January, having started to run with a view to be fully fit for the FIFA World Cup starting June.
