Conceicao available for Manchester United only for €60m or with Zirkzee swap

It’s reported Juventus would only let Francisco Conceicao join Manchester United if the offer is €60m, or Joshua Zirkzee is part of an exchange deal.

The future of the Portugal international was placed in doubt after Juve secured Bosnia and Herzegovina starlet Kerim Alajbegovic from Bayer Leverkusen at a total cost of €35m.

Sky Sport Italia and Tuttosport remain confident that this will not affect Conceicao, who is on the radar of Manchester United.

This is because Luciano Spalletti commented he sees Alajbegovic as more of a trequartista, so in a central role behind the centre-forward and not on the right wing.

However, if the proposal were to come in at €60m, then they could be tempted into a sale, having paid €42m to buy Conceicao from FC Porto.

Another alternative path to getting a deal over the line would be the inclusion of striker Zirkzee as part of the package.

Juve are less eager to pick up Zirkzee than they had been before finally getting Randal Kolo Muani from Paris Saint-Germain, but are still open to the former Bologna striker.
