Bruno Fernandes: Man United star makes bold future decision after FA Cup exit

Manchester United are close to making a final decision on who will replace Ruben Amorim as interim head coach until the end of the season, following meetings with Michael Carrick and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
It is understood that Carrick is the leading candidate for the interim position, with an announcement expected within the next 48 hours. Carrick previously served as Solskjaer’s assistant from 2018 to 2021 and took charge of United for three matches after the Norwegian’s departure.
During this period, Bruno Fernandes enjoyed a prolific run of form as a number 10. Having played a deeper role under Amorim, the Portuguese playmaker is likely to be given a more advanced attacking role once again.
However, United may need to identify a new talisman to rely on from next season onwards.
According to Fichajes , Bruno Fernandes has decided to leave Manchester United in the summer.
Brighton & Hove Albion inflicted a 2-1 defeat on Manchester United at Old Trafford, ending their FA Cup campaign in the third round. The Red Devils have been eliminated from both the FA Cup and League Cup at the first hurdle for the first time in the Premier League era.
It is claimed that the loss to Brighton was the “breaking point” for Fernandes, who is reportedly starting to accept that his time at United is coming to an end.
The United captain believes United’s sporting project has “lost its way” under INEOS.
The 31-year-old’s contract runs until 2027, with the option of a further year.
Still, the Spanish outlet suggest that Fernandes would be willing to “force negotiations” if United receive an attractive offer.
The Portugal international is determined to compete for major trophies. As a result, he would prioritise moving across the continent in the summer, despite significant interest from the Saudi Pro League.
It has previously been reported that Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are monitoring Fernandes.
