Marcus Rashford is reportedly ‘open’ to returning to Manchester United this summer in the event that a permanent transfer elsewhere cannot be agreed.

However, while United made it as straightforward as possible for the deal to be completed upon the culmination of the campaign, it’s thought Barcelona are trying to weave a way around the terms.

Reports have suggested the Catalan giants would rather take Rashford on loan again throughout 2026/2027 , or pay a reduced fee, though United are completely closed off to both options.
