Arsenal player ratings vs Bournemouth as Declan Rice and two other 8/10 stars shine

Arsenal have extended their lead at the top of the Premier League table to six points, following a hard-fought victory on the south coast. Despite Bournemouth's best efforts to snatch a point, the Gunners held firm .

A shocking blunder by Gabriel Magalhaes gifted Evanilson an easy goal, putting Arsenal on the back foot. However, he quickly redeemed himself with a thunderous strike just minutes later.

The second half kicked off with Martin Odegaard setting up Declan Rice on the edge of the box, who coolly slotted home to put the Gunners in front. The England star bagged his second after Bukayo Saka's pass found him unmarked in the box, allowing him to hammer it home.

Junior Kroupi did manage to score a spectacular goal for the hosts, but the Gunners managed to hold on. Here are our player ratings after a big win for Mikel Arteta's men...

Had little chance with the opening goal and nearly managed to recover. Kroupi's strike gave the Spaniard no chance.

Made a superb tackle near the goal line, turning defence into attack. His last-ditch challenge denied David Brooks at the back post.

Could do little about the goal but coped well with Bournemouth's pressure.

A disastrous start for the Brazilian, whose errant pass across the goal was gratefully received by Evanilson for a free goal. But he made amends just minutes later with a fantastic strike.

The Ecuadorian left back had a challenging time against Semenyo, getting bested on several occasions. He was beaten too often by the final whistle.

Despite an early loss of possession, his influence grew as the match progressed. However, a booking meant he was treading on thin ice towards the end of the game

Despite missing out in midweek, the midfielder started on the south coast. A quiet first half was followed by a cracking goal at the start of the second, firing low past Petrovic without hesitation.

He bagged his second thanks to Bukayo Saka's generous cut-back, earning the midfielder a fantastic brace.

He was weaving between the lines in the first half but struggled to break through Bournemouth's solid defence. However, it was his pass that found Rice for Arsenal's second goal.

His pass also spotted the overlapping Saka, leading to the third goal. Another sterling performance from the captain.

He squandered a great chance after driving into the box early on, sending his shot skyward. His run and attempted pass from the right led to the equaliser, and he was a dynamic presence on the right throughout.

Much like many other first halves, the number 14 seemed rather ineffective and non-threatening. He showed physicality in the build-up for the goal, but apart from that, he was barely involved in the game.

Managed to outpace Alex Jimenez on the left, but struggled to deliver the perfect cross into the box. His aerial prowess was evident in the build-up to the second goal.

Leandro Trossard – 6

Replaced Gabriel Martinelli and brought his usual energy to the pitch, creating a few chances.

Gabriel Jesus – 6

Subbed in for Viktor Gyokeres. Had a late shot saved by Petrovic.

Bukayo Saka – 7

Came off the bench and immediately made an impact with an assist from Odegaard's pass, setting up Rice for Arsenal's third goal.

Mikel Merino – 6

Took over from Martin Odegaard. His long-range effort was saved by Petrovic.
