Antoine Semenyo continues incredible start to Man City career 💫
Manchester City are definitely getting their money's worth out of Antoine Semenyo .
The Ghana international had already enjoyed a blistering start to life at the Etihad Stadium with a hand in two goals on his debut in the FA Cup rout over Exeter City .
But Semenyo continued to repay his reported £62.5m fee that Pep Guardiola's side paid to prise him from Bournemouth in Tuesday's EFL Cup semi-final with Newcastle.
A cagey affair at St James' Park was brought to life just minutes into the second half when City's new No.42 stabbed home Jérémy Doku's cross via a Bernando Silva touch.
He should have extended his tally by meeting Tijani Reijnders' corner in the middle of the goalmouth only for it to be disallowed by VAR for offside against Erling Haaland.
It's still a combined three goals and assists for the 26-year-old in his first two games.

Talk about a transformative signing!
