Ajax linked with loan move for Manuel Ugarte

Dutch press is reporting that Ajax are exploring a loan move for Manchester United midfielder Manuel Ugarte .
The Uruguayan has struggled to show his best form at Old Trafford with his defensive contribution often let down by his passing after the fact.
According to Voetbal International , Ajax are looking for a player of Ugarte's profile and exploring a deal to take the player on loan until the end of the season, with the 24-year-old said to be open to the move.
However, United are light in midfield and a replacement's new system may require the club to keep the player – especially with Casemiro the only other senior defensive-minded midfielder.
Alternatively, Ajax may look at an ex-United player instead, someone with much more experience than Ugarte. Daley Blind has been at Girona since the summer of 2023 and the 35-year-old is of interest for what would be his third stint at the club.
